Geometric Disposition of Verses in Nostradamus Prophecies |

The Prophecies by Nostradamus are divided in 10 Centuries. Each century has 100 quatrains, each quatrain has four verses.
The quatrains are all numbered, except for the hundredth quatrain of the sixth century, which was written in LATIN in order to be distinguished.

Quos legent hosce versus maturè censunto, Profanum vulgus & inscium ne attrectato: Omnesq; Astrologi Blenni, Barbari procul sunto, Qui alter facit, is ritè, sacer esto.

Let those who read this verse consider it profoundly, Let the profane and the ignorant herd keep away: And far away all Astrologers, Idiots and Barbarians, May he who does otherwise be subject to the sacred rite.
The four sentences (verses) are in a different font from the numerical title in Roman. In this case, the Title is not a number, but a sentence. If the previous quatrain is number 99 (CXIX), we can assume that this is the number 100 (C).
It is the only quatrain in Latin. And it is a five-verse block not a Quatrain.
If we observe it carefully, the author induces us to think that quatrains might not be quatrains, but five-verse strophes.
That quatrain is not numbered in Roman, or should the numbering of all others be considered its first verse, even being only a number? In that case, all of them would be Five-verse strophes, not Quatrains?
Such are some questions that the author deliberately makes and, at the same time, put a kind of mark in this place.
The final quatrain of the Century VI is the quatrain number 600 since the beginning of the book. We should have it clear in our mind, for the computing that we are about to make.
If it is a mark (a point) then we should interpret numerically and/or geometrically.
Those are the elucidations that made me research the entire Nostradamus work in a geometrical, numerical way.
If we have numbers, we should compute them. Recommendation by “The Portuguese”.
Century seven is incomplete, it has only 42 quatrains. Even though, the author induces us to interpret it as if the numbering should go on to one hundred, reaching 10 Centuries. Therefore, we suppose that it is intentional, to count one hundred even with that century being incomplete.
Consequently, the hidden quatrains of the century seven are forbidden to the public. That is why they have not been presented.
The entire book should compute 4,000 verses, divided by four, therefore 1,000 quatrains. Divided by 100, we have 10 centuries. 10 x 100 x 4 = 4,000 verses.
Look to page number 86 in the original of 1568 by Bernoist RIGAUD. Follow my comments.
Evaluating the need to number the Quatrains (and why number them?).
a) First hypothesis is numbering the quatrains to avoid that others, not the Author, remove, insert or alter them. b) Second hypothesis is numbering the quatrains so that they will have a certain order and sequence so that they are not misplaced, and that they have a numerical organization to make it possible to compute them.
If the hypothesis (a) is the correct, the author would like the words to be kept by the importance of the prophecies and what they represent. Therefore, the author could increase the numbering comprehending the verses and words, but it was not done. This was not the intention. Doubtful hypothesis.
In the hypothesis (b), the interpretation and importance of the quatrain is considered by those who want to understand them, for instance, the number “1” should have a different importance in the sequence of reading from the next, number “2”. And it would be possible to numerically compare them (measurements). Such hypothesis should be the best one provided one can prove the deliberate positioning for calculations, and this is what I am about to demonstrate.
But, why are the quatrains in four verses, not five or even 10, or a numbering without quatrains, each verse having its own number? The numbering has its purpose, and this is what the author intended to do.
Very well, now we will approach the first evaluation on such numerical disposition.
Initially, we should number all verses in order to start the comparison between them. (Pay attention, we have two ways to number each verse.)
For instance, up to the second quatrain there are a total of eight verses, normally understood in groups of four, each quatrain has four new verses. Quatrain number 1 Verse 1 Verse 2 Verse 3 Verse 4 Quatrain number 2, new count Verse 1 Verse 2 Verse 3 Verse 4
Let’s number them beyond four, continuously following to five, six, seven, etc. Quatrain number 1 Verse 1 Verse 2 Verse 3 Verse 4 Quatrain number 2, counting in sequence Verse 5 Verse 6 Verse 7 Verse 8
For better visualization of the order, we will use the quatrain numbers just like the original, in Roman, and number the verses without the texts, for instance, up to quatrain VI, we would have:

Look, the readers are induced by the author to read the verses in that order. Read 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, etc.…
If the author puts numbers only in the title of the quatrains it is because he wants to induce the reader to compute them, we can still read in the normally sequential order 01, 02, 03, 04, 05. Or in another order that would follow some intentional criteria, for instance: Read verse 01, then 05 and then 09 and so on in a horizontal sequence: 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25.
Prophecies and why are secret – demonstrates that the prophecies should be hidden from the ordinary reader. Taking that into consideration, the author much probably has verses all in understandable order, but he could not present them to the common people, and he placed them in a different order in some kind of sequence that only those who have permission might read. Such order might be formulae to be applied to the sequence of verses when we number them as shown above. And the common public can not read clearly the prophecies in their normal growing order 1, 2, 3, 4.
As we determine a sequence or formula to read the verses, the meaning itself of the verses should confirm the sequence, otherwise it would not make sense and it would not be the purpose of the author. This should be considered so that we do not follow any sequence without confirming it.
In other words, we will enter the occultism of the verses. The author places confirmations for the admissible readers, while non-admissible readers do not qualify to continue reading, as their personal interests do not accept occultism. |
